Digital marketing: Is this the way forward? The need for digital recruitment agencies

Times are ever-changing, and what has been paramount is the shift towards everything moving online. Our founder recently visited France to enjoy some skiing and was shocked at the scarcity of obtaining a physical ski map. Numerous people guided them to ‘look online’ or ‘download the app’; it was almost impossible to find a physical handheld map in 2026, when previous years one could be reasonably found. With some persistence, they found a ski school with a previous season's piste map.
What does this teach us about the move towards phones, sites & apps? Well, almost the entire population now has a phone, and therefore, people are accessing most information online.
Is there still a need to market and appeal to the people who prefer traditions and something to hold, touch, and feel, such as our Founder? Well, in some sense, yes, but the experience speaks for itself; there were almost no ski maps in the traditional print version.

Even offline marketing, such as print & events, are shifting towards a digital experience, such as the use of interactive screens, QR codes & online newspapers.
As 2026 begins, employers need to be mindful of this online movement, and employees should be up-skilling themselves in this area of expertise.
